Surah Ibrahim (Prophet Ibrahim) is the 14th Sura of the Qur'an. This Sura consisting of 52 verses and surah-Sura included Makkiyyah as revealed in Mecca before Hijra.
Ibrahim Sura is named, because it contains a prayer Prophet Ibrahim i.e. paragraph 35 to 41. This prayer its contents include: a plea to his descendants founded the prayer, away from worshiping idols and to Mecca and the surrounding area into a safe and prosperous.
Abraham's Prayer has been allowed by God as already proven its safety since immemorial till now. The prayer was read into the presence of God after he is finished with his son Ishmael built the Kaaba, on the plains of Mecca, a barren land.
